FAQ's
Q: Why use the SarcMark? I don't like sarcasm.
A: The Merriam Webster dictionary defines sarcasm as a mode of satirical wit and states that a similar word for sarcasm is the word "wit". Wit is defined as "The natural ability to perceive and understand; intelligence". Therefore, when you use it, you are intelligent
Q: Why are there both a graphic SarcMark and a font SarcMark on my computer?
A: Not all computers have the software, at least not yet. You should use the graphic SarcMark when sending emails, documents and messages to friends who haven't downloaded the software. They'll be able to see the graphic SarcMark but not insert it in their own messages. Once your friends get the software, all of you can use either the graphic or font SarcMark. The font SarcMark does provide some extra advantages. (See below)
Q: What are the advantages of the font SarcMark?
A: You can change the font size and make it any color you wish. You can bold, underline and italicize it. The font SarcMark can also be used in many other applications like Instant Messaging, as long as both computers have the software. It offers a lot more use and flexibility but remember, if you send an email or a file with the font SarcMark to another computer, that computer must have the SarcMark Software loaded. If not, use the graphic SarcMark.
Q: Will I ever be able to use the font SarcMark on my computer?
A: Of course you will! When more friends download the SarcMark software, you can use the font SarcMark since they will be able to see it in your messages and insert it in their own correspondence. As other people in your city, county, state, country, continent and the world download and use the SarcMark Software, you'll be able to use the font SarcMark even more!

Q: Why can I only use the SarcMark for text messaging on my cell phone/mobile device and not e-mail?
A: Besides talking on your cell phone, do you really do anything else other than send text messages? For 2008, about 160 million people in the US sent text messages and about 1.8 billion use text messaging worldwide. Text messaging is THE application of choice. If you want to use the SarcMark with other functions, have your carrier contact us.
Q: I bought a download code on my computer but it won't work for downloading the SarcMark software on my BlackBerry. Why not?
A: Possibly two answers. First, each download code is good for downloading the SarcMark software on one device only. If you already used that code for your computer, you can't use it again. Second answer, you must purchase a code and download that code on the device you intend to use the software on. You cannot purchase a code on a computer and then use that code to download on your BlackBerry.
Q: My cell phone/mobile device is not supported. Why not?
A: Patience please! Every mobile device manufacturer has different operating systems, and some manufacturers use different operating systems within their own product line! Please get on our Waiting List so we can notify you when your cell phone is supported. In the meantime, check out the SarcMark merchandise - join the revolution and "Tell Them How You Really Feel".
Q: Should a sarcastic statement end with a SarcMark and then a period? Or, can you end the sentence with just a SarcMark and no other punctuation?
A: The SarcMark is a punctuation mark, so end that sarcastic sentence with just the SarcMark.
Q: Is it proper grammar to put the SarcMark in the middle of a sentence?
A: I am not your language teacher. Put it where you want it.
Q: Can't I use a smiley face?
A: Do you really like those things as they dance, talk and jiggle across your screen? They look like a cross between a gremlin, zombie, and some smiling pervert
Q: Can't I use emoticons?
A: Do you mean a combination of characters that's supposed to mean something (or) is it just stuck buttons on your keyboard >(:'*^.;)? Looks like a smiling face with a three-day beard growth to me
Q: Can't I use a tilde?
A: That's the character that looks like ~. It means "approximately" in math, "not" in logic, the "user's home directory" in programming and when placed over a character, it denotes a palatal nasal sound. Oh yeah, let's now use it for sarcasm
